Where Academic Achievement Meets Whole-Person Growth.
A small offering with big dreams.
Hi, I’m Fenella. I created Emberfield Growth because I believe education should be a source of strength, not a cause of stress. As a mother navigating the SEND system with my own daughters, and having spent years in Learning Support departments, I’ve seen firsthand how the "mainstream noise" can drown out a child's brilliance.
I provide IGCSE Tuition, Practical Life Skills, and Bespoke Mentoring for the quiet-at-heart. My space is a bridge—a place where the freedom of home education meets the rigour of academic progress.
What is Emberfield Growth? — From the Founder
In this conversation, I explain the inspiration behind Emberfield Growth and how the learning works in practice. I hope this brings some comfort to anyone unsure where to turn for home education.
And a glimpse of the space...
The learning environment includes a dedicated indoor learning space, outdoor covered areas, woodland access, gardening spaces, and quiet places for rest, reflection, and creative work.

The promise
I limit my cohort to exactly four external learners. This ensures that every young person is seen, regulated, and supported to thrive—academically, creatively, and humanly. Emberfield Growth will open in September 2026 with this small Founding Four, allowing me to create the community carefully and relationally.
Who Emberfield is for
It is a fit for young people who:
Are deep-feelers, highly sensitive, or neurodivergent (ASD/ADHD/PDA profiles).
Have experienced "school burnout" or struggle with large institutional settings.
Learn best through a trusted relationship with a consistent mentor.
Want to achieve core IGCSEs in a calm, non-competitive environment.
It may not be the right fit if you are looking for:
A "school replacement" with institutional rules, bells, and systems.
Clinical or 1:1 behavioural crisis intervention.
A traditional tutoring centre focused solely on rote-learning and testing.
